Engr. Aniebiet Udoh is currently the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors at KodeHauz Solutions Planet Limited, a tech company based in Eket, Akwa Ibom State. KodeHauz was established to build a flourishing Technology Ecosystem through skill and capacity building, research and product development.
Until February 2023, Engr. Aniebiet Udoh had worked for 18 years in ExxonMobil Nigeria, starting his professional career as an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, growing through the ranks to become the Program Owner for Instrumentation, Controls & Electrical Systems for Upstream Nigeria.
He has a wealth of experience in offshore construction installation and commission as well as facilities and reliability engineering. He’s an expert in control systems, particularly in instrumentation, process control systems, double machinery control systems, and automated safety systems that are used in oil and gas installations.
In March 2023, he retired from the oil and gas industry to fully embrace his natural passion for software development, which started about 32 years ago, to drive through his vision of developing highly skilled individuals in various areas of tech in Nigeria and Africa.
Before joining ExxonMobil, he worked as a programmer for 2 years (2003–2004) for Arts in Science Ltd, PH, where he focused on building web-based enterprise management system software. Aniebiet has extensive experience and expert-level knowledge in multiple programming languages and technologies.
During the last 32 years, Engr. Aniebiet Udoh has worked as a hardware and software engineer on different projects including web, mobile, IoT, and embedded systems applications for personal, proprietary, and enterprise clients. He’s also an expert in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI), building and training neural network models using the latest ML tools and technology.
He has led multiple software development teams of senior and mid-level engineers in multi-functional teams through the entire software product development cycle, including hardware and embedded systems (IoT) integrations. He has lots of experience with IT infrastructure, including design, deployment, and operations.
Aniebiet is a registered Engineer with the Council of Registration of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, and was the Branch Chairman of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Eket Branch, in 2019.
Aniebiet Udoh served in the National Working Committee for Digital Transformation and Technology Group (DTNTG) of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), where the University Digital Capacity Development program was established and is still active till date.
Aniebiet is a lover of music and has Royal Music House to his credit, a vehicle through which he has hosted about 10 music concerts from 2017 till 2022.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt in the year 2001. He was the best in his class.
He is happily married with 2 beautiful daughters.
His current interest is to build a formidable world-class DevOps Engineering team and talent pipeline for the global tech market through focused training and mentorship. He is currently the sponsor of KodeCamp, an online training program that has attracted more than 8,000 registrations from within and outside the country.
